NSR Fall Meeting

Sorry for the recent delay. We returned from Young Life's Family Camp at Castaway Club and immediately we were thrown into the ring of fire. Shannon returned to school on Monday and I attended our Regional Meeting in the Twin Cities. These meetings are a great time to gather amongst other YL staff and show our support for each other as the busyness of the fall draws near. Good times were had by all. I have to say, our YL team ROCKS!! I mean what other region in this country is out creating competition amongst their staff by issuing putting contests and shooting 20 or 12 gauge shotguns at the Horse and Hunt Club.

Welcome to YL Camp

Welcome to Castaway! This is Sutton's 1st trip to a Young Life property. Often times you might read about men and women (usually more men) that travel the country visiting ballpark after ballpark. Not in our family! Although baseball is a celebrated past time in our family, and we rarely miss a Minnesota Twins game on television, our goal is to visit every Young Life camp in the states and beyond. Well, Sutton has now joined the rat race. Congrats buddy on your first YL Camp... where to next year? Have a great night!!

Peace,
BD

Sutton's Portraits

To VIEW Sutton's 7 & 10 Month Portraits... CLICK HERE
We have taken so many pictures of Sutton but when he's puttin out faces like this, how can you resist?

It wasn't until Sutton was born (and actually, probably 5 months into his life) before I really realized that he is ours (my wife and mine's)... Like we made him (not to be confused with, "created"). And the fact that he is going to be a big brother in just a few months floors me. I am very happy for him that he will have someone to build bedsheet forts with. How fun!!

Alright, gotta hit the sack.... just exhausted!

good night,
BD

I had so much fun shooting (taking pictures, it sounds so gangster) of this little neighbor friend. My little guy has been flirting with Julia everytime he bats eyes at her. I hope you enjoyed your birthday!!

Thanks,

I've spent the last 5 hours trying to figure out how to make all of this happen. My patience has worn thin and my wife's patience has worn out. However, I'm grateful for everyone's patience while I've tried to get this up and running. Watch out, I'm gonna be unloading on this blog very soon!

Peace,
BD
