Naughty or Nice....We'll See

Over the weekend we got to go visit Santa. We joined Sheila for brunch and Santa was there waiting in anticipation to hear what all the little boys and girls want for Christmas...You know the rest! Well, Sutton was really excited to see Santa and I'd have to say, he did a really good job. Shaeffer was a little more squirmy and didn't really care a whole lot for jolly St. Nick. We did manage to get good pictures of Santa with both of the boys. Once Santa took off from his chair, Shaeffer thought that he could play the part better then the real deal so he hopped up into Santa's chair and took to the post. He didn't really have the crowd around him like he was hoping. As we all prepare for Christmas and prepare for our guests to arrive, buy gifts, wrap presents...etc. May we not loose sight of the true meaning of Christmas. As my oldest son would say, "Baby Jesus?"

Shaeffer's 1st Birthday!!!

TO VIEW SLIDESHOW CLICK HERE

Shaeffer celebrated his 1st birthday last weekend. On the actual day of his birthday we had a snowstorm so we had to reschedule his party for Sunday afternoon. We were surrounded by friends and family and had a great time celebrating Shaef's first year. He is growing up SO fast! The little guy started walking at 10 months and is already beginning to speak and say a couple of words. WOW!! It's going to be a great year! Enjoy the show...

Let There Be Light...

I had to post this shot this morning...this is seriously breathtaking. Our home faces east and every morning (in the winter), we get these stunning sunrises. I'm serious, every morning! I was dropping the boys off this morning and Sutton was in the back of the car repeatedly saying, "mooon, mooon, moon." Sure enough the moon was in the sky which gave us a chance to talk about the moon which then transitioned into talking about the sun. Upon my return home, here was this amazing sunrise. I was driving super fast on these 2 lane, snow packed roads, racing to get my camera so I could share this with you. Enjoy!!!

Peace,

Happy Birthday Shaeffer!

Shaeffer is the luckiest boy in the world...he got to celebrate his birthday 2 days in a row. Yesterday we had a snow storm and we decided to cancel the celebration and reschedule it for today. We had family and friends join us for the afternoon party. Shaeffer was a little out of sorts today but he did manage to hit his cake pretty hard...nice work buddy! Happy Birthday DeDe (pronounced: Day Day). Have a great night!

Peace,
