Full of Smiles

We aren't sure if Shaeffer was full of smiles because of the snowy, icey weather outside or if he was just havin' fun with mom. He has been so much happier since his reflux has subsided. Shaef is really growing up and at certain glances you can see the little boy him. Man, they sure grow up quickly. We are supposed be getting some nasty weather today and tomorrow but as for now we're just getting some blowing snow and ice pellets hitting the ground. Nothing like they were initially talking about. It's kind of a bummer! We were all hoping for a HUGE snow fall like they were promising. Hope you are having a wonderful day doing whatever you do on Saturdays.

Our Time at the Nursing Home

We had the opportunity to stop back at the nursing home to see Grandma (Ben's Grandma). Grandma was delighted to see Sutton and Shaeffer and we couldn't peel them away from her. Thankfully grandma can't hear or see because she might be upset about the picture I'm posting of her that we played around with. Thanks Grandma for being such a good sport. We did forget the camera but thanks to Mac's NEW version of Photobooth (Nursing Home Edition), we were able to capture some very fun photos. We found Sutton racing the old folks up and down the nursing home halls with his walker. Go speed racer!!! My A. Sally and U. Will are doing great as well. It was fun to see them and boy have they changed since we last saw them.... HA, HA!!! I don't think they knew that I'd be posting their picture I took in photobooth!!! Even Shannon and I had fun with the camera!!! Who knew Shan married such a hunk!!! Thanks for a great night and for the wonderful family memories.... We'll miss you all!!!

Sleepy Time....zzzzz's

I was able to catch Shaeffer getting a little shut eye last night before we put him in bed. I wanted to share these with all of you. We know, it's the same outfit as the earlier photo posted... It's the outfit that he always requests. What are we supposed to do??? Have a great day!!!

Shaeffer's Turn

Shaeffer is now 2 months old and loves to smile. We've been blessed by his wonderful sleeping pattern. Yes, he's sleeping through the night and we have to wake him to feed him in the morning. He has become a true delight now that he's feeling better and his acid reflux has subsided. He enjoys watching his big brother crawl around and dance to "jungle boogie."
At last check, Shaeffer weighed in at a whopping 13 lbs. 5 ozs.!!! So yes, he loves to eat. He has already received recruiting calls from the new Minnesota Gophers football coach Tim Bruester seeking an early, verbal commitment to the U. Have a great weekend!!!

It's been awhile....

Here are a couple of recent photos that we've managed to take since little Shaeffer was born. Life has been exciting and crazy all at the same time! There hasn't been much time to shoot photos due to feeding, changing diapers, cleaning, picking up toys...etc. We are loving the time together as a family and look forward to the warmer weather arriving soon. Stay tuned for some recent photos of Shaeffer after his photo shoot.
