The Andrus Family

Last Saturday was a blast...1. We celebrated my son's 2nd Birthday and 2. I got to spend time with the Andrus Family!! Lucky me!!! Happy Birthday Sutton

Sutton turns 2 today....Happy Birthday Bubbies!!!! Enjoy your "I get to do and eat whatever I want day!" It will only last a few short hours, sorry! Stay tuned to see TALL Sutton will be when he is an adult. We will be measuring him this afternoon and whatever his current height is, you are supposed to multiply that times 2 for the "adult" height. The entire time I was working on Tucker's 6 month portraits, I had the song "The Way I Live" by Baby Boy Da Prince in my head. For those of you that love Hip Hop then you know what I'm talkin' about...for those of you that don't then ask someone that does. This past weekend I hopped into the car and made a run for the border...the Wisconsin border that is. I had a great time spending the morning with the Dassow family in their home. What a warm and inviting family they are as you can tell from the photos. Pumpkins Galore

This afternoon we had a chance to sneak out and go to the pumpkin "patch." We went to one pumpkin field where you can pick your own but it looked like they had just dispersed prepicked pumpkins in a field. Not really what we were looking for. So we went for a little longer drive and found a pumpkin stand (still not what we wanted but at least it didn't look like wannabe pumpkin patch). The boys had a great time running around laying on the pumpkins, tipping them over and kissing them. It is really humid and hot here so we had to be careful with what pumpkin we picked because some of them were mushy. Have a great Sunday!

The Brill Family

Fun, Fun, Fun... I had so much fun with the Brill family at Bryant Lake Park last evening. The weather wasn't great in the early morning and thankfully it turned out to be a beautiful fall day afterall. I heard that we even broke a record with the temps yesterday. Which leads me to this awesome family. They were such great sports in their long sleeve t-shirts and sweaters on our 90 degree day. True models!!! We got some great shots while the sun was going down on us. Thanks you guys for the great laughs and for the fun shots. Have a great weekend!

Lazy Day...

Ok, so I know that I'm probably going to have to sleep on the couch tonight after posting this shot but I just was playing around with my camera while everyone else in my family was taking a Saturday afternoon nap. The boys are down, the dog was down and Shan was out like a light on the sofa. I was literallly just using her as a focal point to practice a couple of flash/remote flash things with my camera. You know, those shots where you just take a picture to take the picture (maybe it's a photog thang). Needless to say, I thought these turned out pretty sweet. So, had to post! I should probably go take a nap now!!! But you can bet your bottom dollar that I'll be sleeping with ONE eye open!!!
